Xtreme online started in Feb 2017 and we have been in business for over 6 years. During the pandemic, our team was working from home to ensure employee safety. We are back to work from the office since June 2022! Not only have things returned to normal, but our recruitment drive is also booming with new joiners joining for training every month.
It has always been a matter of pride for Xtreme that our employees enjoy working with us. It is our constant endeavor to ensure that the employees feel right at home at the office and that every milestone and achievement has been celebrated as a team. From recognizing their achievements to celebrating them as a team, the Xtreme family always supports them. “No man left alone” is something that is practiced at Xtreme online solutions. From the Directors to the Team leads, we believe that encouraging our team is the best way to get them to perform. Xtreme’s management believes in providing continuous education and all-inclusive celebrations to support our team.
It has always astounded us that striving to build a corporate culture that values taking care of each other has helped our company and its employees bond to such an extent. It is a matter of pride for us that a helping hand is available to every employee whenever they need support at the office. From their colleagues to the management team, it is “one for all and all for one” here at Xtreme Online Solutions!
Another major bonding started because of the compassionate nature of our directors. They came across a playful and loving street puppy on their visit to India and fell in love with her. And she in turn charmed the whole office! This led to an eventful 6 months when “Indy”, as she was named, initially thrived under the love and affection of her 20 foster parents from Xtreme and some from outside too. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when she was captured by the municipality and we lost her for a couple of weeks.
A hectic and heartbreaking 2 weeks when we had teams scouring the Techno Park Campus to find her, to know if she was hurt, just moved, or had been adopted by one of her well-wishers. All these led us to discover that she had been captured by the municipality for sterilization and our team with the help of some other wonderful friends including a couple of veterinarians arranged for her to be picked up and moved to a foster care home where she could recover and get fully vaccinated.
Soon after, she moved to her permanent home and now has as many loving family members around taking care of her as she would want, with her new mum running a cageless shelter and boarding home. She and her siblings, both dogs, and cats bonded and they play all day long. Mornings and evenings are spent with her new mum for cuddles and special bonding time. With our staff from Xtreme dropping in on and off whenever they feel like a cuddle with their baby girl, Indy, and her siblings do not lack admirers! It is not uncommon for long conversations to start in the office now with, “ I dropped in at Aparna’s / Coexistence / Indy’s …”. Guaranteed conversation hits at Xtreme online solutions!
We only planned on making things comfortable for our staff so that they would be able to work better, just like we only meant to take care of a playful puppy by feeding her and taking care of her basic needs. And just like a small snowball rolling down a snow-covered hill, things gained momentum and have become this self-sustaining juggernaut of employee best practices and taking care of more than 20 pups and cats at Aparna’s Coexistence Pet Boarding and Rescue. The positivity can be felt whenever you step into the office at Xtreme Online Solutions. Every employee at Extreme knows there is no barrier to the support they can expect from General Manager to Human Resources Manager to Team Leads and colleagues they interact with every day! The motto “work hard and play harder” is taken to heart by everyone at Xtreme Online Solutions.
Some of the best practices followed by the Management Team at Xtreme are –
1. Transparency – we are open to employees discussing any matter or sharing any data we believe they should know.
2. Feedback – we value the feedback from staff and typically discuss or try to understand their viewpoint when we introduce something.
3. Friendly management – we have made ourselves easily approachable to staff if they would like to discuss anything. The HRM is usually found mingling with the team more than in her cabin.
4. We make it a good onboarding experience for all on their joining day.
5. We celebrate major festivals involving all staff.
6. We have an ongoing employee recognition program to appreciate the best performances.
7. We give proper and regular feedback on performance to consultants and ensure they know their strong areas and where they need to improve.
8. Goal-oriented – we have specific goals to achieve, which are shared with our employees, and we work towards them by supporting each other.
